Dusk was closing in when we reached Wainapanapa Black Sand Beach. Because the famous Kalapana Beach on the Big Island is no more (buried in lava) we've happily adopted this one as our favorite black sand beach.

One of these days we'll reach it in enough time to do some serious exploring (note the sea arch off to the right).
