In the Wintertime there's no mistaking Waimea Bay on Oahu's North Shore with its non-stop succession of rolling waves for boogie boarding and surfing.

This shot was taken in the Summertime, when the surf is as tame as a lap pool. If the beach gets too hot for your taste, cross the road to the trail that leads to Waimea Falls and its refreshing pool (used, not surprisingly, in "Lost").
