The trek to Manoa Falls is one of the most popular hikes on the island, but it rains a lot back in Manoa Valley, so much so that we had to postpone our last attempt in 2008.

In May 2010, the sun was out and the footing was stable enough to make the steep hike through vine-draped jungle. Reaching the deep green amphitheater and viewing the falls at long last was the highlight of our trip.
