Continuing around the rugged southern end of Maui, we finally reached a rest stop (actually the ONLY rest stop) in the form the of Kaupo General Store. Founded in 1925, this rustic outpost is a welcome oasis with restrooms, fresh sandwiches, and ice cold drinks that we enjoyed on its breezy front porch.
