If Manoa Falls and Diamond Head are the most popular hikes on Oahu, Hanauma Bay is by far the most popular snorkeling spot.

The perfectly round bay was formed when the ocean broke through and flooded an extinct volcano. The reef (see the dark patches in the bay) is home to colorful fish and other marine life.

A side trip around the northern tip of the bay brings you to the infamous "Toilet Bowl."
